I just love the way DC shows their support to the scene. They know this is the way for them to get more supporters by doing this kind of thing, like this time, they bring the DC pro riders all the way from US to Malaysia.

I went to the one of their stop which is at Shah Alam Skatepark. A lot of riders & skaters having fun chilling and riding together with the pros. Well, this is one of the reason for us to support them right? because DC do support us and our scene too!

I hope you enjoy the pictures below. :)

It is good to see the local riders put their effort to help other riders especially the beginners and in the same time they help the scene to grow up.

This video by Saiful Ariff will teach you how to do feble grind, feble 180, & feble hard 180.
I am sure most of the beginners out there are waiting for your next 'how to' video. Keep it up and post more videos bro.

For the beginner riders out there, keep on learning & and always have fun with your bike!

Recently our local BMX scene has received coverage from the local newspaper, Utusan Malaysia. For us, it is not a new thing or something that rarely happen, but this time the coverage was more highlighted to the young riders who are progressing a lot. This is good for the exposure of this sport and also the riders itself.

"BMX is not a new thing in Malaysia. It has come to Malaysia and has been played since the 80's but for the past 10 years it is increasingly popular among youngsters"

For those who missed to buy newspapers message dated 1st September 2012, you're free to CLICK HERE to read the online version of the news.

31 August 2012 is the day where Malaysia celebrates its 55th Independence/National Day, also its 55th birthday. With each Malaysian Independence/National Day, we’re reminded of how grateful we are to call this country our home.

As a Malaysian rider, we should be thankful and proud of the support given by the government for providing funding to build the skatepark and also to organize competition. We, as riders should appreciate and keep on progress so that we can bring Malaysia to the international level in BMX sport.

Lastly, I would to wish Happy 55th Merdeka to Malaysian!
Thank you.

Hello everyone
Welcome to Thrive, a blog from rider to the riders and yeah, we are talking about BMX. I wont explain anything about what or who is Thrive here because you can get it from 'About Me' section, but here I would explain the format of this blog content.

Thrive will try my best to cover anything related to the local scene of BMX as much as possible in order to achieve the objective of this blog. However, since this is just like a free contribution to the scene, I am sure that I am not able do like a total coverage on every single thing. If you would like to contribute any material/content for Thrive, it would be much appreciated.

Lastly, lets show our love to BMX by supporting Thrive. Thank you.
